    Thank you bull man
Great steps I bought 5 with the ratchet strap and it allows me to work all the way around the tree at an affordable price
Much better than a platform while in my saddle. 😁

I started using Bullman Outdoors ROS in 2019 when I started saddle hunting as Traditional Bowhunter that hunts primarily with a 66” longbow, I’ve found that these are the best and most solid step once set, whether I use a ratchet strap or OCB buckle. They are also some of the most affordable steps out there. I have a few the I use for pre-sets and one that I use for mobile hunting.

Got 5 steps as well as the hd ratchet strap great system as a light stand alone or in conjunction with a platform which just completely stiffens up the whole system only reason for the 4 stars is upon removal you do get a rather big pop from the strap which is pretty loud

  5. Dale Edwards

Absolutely perfect product. Light, strong and do not roll when foot pressure is applied at angle

  6. Tom Kielbasinski

These are the first ROS I tried as am new to saddlehunting this year. I also purchased a platform but like the Bullman steps so much I never even tried the platform…lightweight, quick and comfortable. Took a few times to get familiar with how to install them but I am super happy with them…awesome product!

Purchased the platform steps in hopes to battle foot pain!! A they worked flawlessly, light weight an minimal noise. Went from 3-4 hour sits to all day sits with ease . I can’t get comfortable with a platform for some reason an others step’s really hurt my feet even with a thick sole boot , game changer for me using the platform steps

  8. Dan

I killed a deer while using these, so they must work. Great addition to my saddle gear. I’m usually a full platform guy but these are great for a quick, light after work hunt or an all day sit adding to my platform when I think I may need to walk around a tree. The strap locks them in tight and I’ve never had them slip on me.

I’m new to saddle hunting and started with a platform I am a big guy at 6’1 and pushing the weight limit of 300 bit these steps lock in solid. With the platform found weak side side shots hard to do with size 13 feet its hard to use a small platform as a stand and turn on it. Walking around the tree on these steps is by far easier. They are rock solid and the traction is decent enough where I dont slip. Great product and rock solid.

Ring of steps i bought both sets six of both and love them very sturdy and made with good quality definitely recommend either one great product 👍 👌 😊

  11. Bryan Moorefield

Used them this hunting season and they worked great. They are light weight and solid as can be on the tree. Been using a saddle for hunting over 20 years and always used screw in steps, this is much simpler, lighter and much more efficient. Thanks for the great product.

I purchased the Ring of Steps in Oct. 22, The package arrived quicker than expected. Highly recommend trying this out at home with your tree saddle set up several times before heading out into the field. Threading the ratchet strap while suspended 20′ up in the dark is a bit challenging and requires patience. Once set, the platform worked great, Didn’t do an all day sit but a couple of 5 hr sits. They were comfortable, you just have to change positions not to get too stiff and relieve pressure points either from the steps your your saddle set up. I purchased 5 steps, but would suggest 6 as a better set up so you can evenly space them around the tree. Worked great, setting up on the off side of the tree had several deer walk by and even a couple of other public land hunters, never knew I was there. Very happy

  13. Mike Curtis aka Onehair

I have hunted out of a saddle for nearly 40 years using all types of steps and platforms. This is the first time I have been completely comfortable with no tired feet.

  14. Chad Warden

With 5 of the platform steps and the ratchet strap it is a great system
    Rock solid on the tree

  15. Cris G Counts

Bullman nailed it! Best ring of steps on the market! Got these in and decided to throw them on a slick fence post real quick to test how well they hold. Threw them on an ocb and hopped up on them. Little to my surprise only 2-4 of them settled down into a solid position. I’m not positive all four on the front side even moved lol. They were all solid as a rock. I stepped around the backside and those two never budged. Extremely impressed and definitely looking forward to hitting the woods with them 👍🏻👍🏻. 160lbs give or take for reference

I moved from a platform set up to these steps and will never go back to a platform. I find them more comfortable, easier to pack, lighter, and provide more shot opportunities than a platform. I was concerned the ratchet strap would be loud, but if you take your time, as shown in some of the videos, you can be very quiet. I anticipate these to last many seasons. Great product.

Just received my Platform of Steps. I didn’t know if I was going to like them, being I have always used a platform for saddle hunting. Wrong!! These things are fantastic. You can definitely get around the tree and they hold in position. So I will be definitely using them out hunting. Thanks Bullman for a great product!!

  18. John radford

Works so well I bought a second one so I can leave in favorite stand and still be moble.

  19. Bryan

Purchased 4 steps found them to be way more comfortable and convenient than screw in steps . Put some orientation marks on my strap to aid with threading the strap in the dark . I also make a small overhand knot to make a loop to hang strap off my saddle while climbing . Could not be happier with my purchase great products

  20. Greg

Love this things!! Prefer these to a platform. They are much easier to move around the tree vs a platform

  21. Al

Debated for 3 years on what ROS I wanted to go with and as soon as these came out I ordered them. Very pleased! Even with a size 14 boot. Went with an OCB style strap instead of ratchet and finally have what I was waiting for.

  22. Nicholas Divincenti

Bought 6 steps to try something different. The platform had to placed just right on a tree that has any bend to it. Also I felt like I was picked out to easily. Definitely practiced for a couple days with different situations and different trees to get used to them and setting up situations. Can hide easily and step around and no more squeak from the platform and stuck in one spot.

  23. jimmy branks

I use ros with lattitude xwing platform and they’re a great addition to a platform. Helps you get around the tree for shot options and gives an alternative resting place for your feet when sitting or leaning. I use them wether I’m in my method 2 saddle or my jx3 hybrid saddle.

  24. Todd West

Great product for the mobile hunter. Very little movement if any once seated. Very user friendly.

  25. LUKE FERA

They work great with one sticking.

  26. LUKE FERA

    They work great

  27. AJ

Great for tree climbing! I used this for my kid’s tree zip line. It is so much better than having the ladder on uneven ground.

  28. Eran Rosensteel

Steps are OK . Even with the rachit strap ,the steps well slowly slide down the tree

  29. Eric

So far I’m super impressed with the platform ring of steps. The day after I got mine I took them to a tree and strapped them on. From the ground they were really easy to get them strapped to the tree. Today I went scouting and brought my climbing sticks and the ring of steps. I’m getting back into bow hunting after being out of it for 13 years. I am also not a fan of heights. I got up the tree with 3 sticks and put the ring of steps on the tree. I had a harder time this time because again, I’m not a big fan of heights and I’m still getting used to all of it. However, with my lineman rope attached I was able to step onto the ring of steps. I’m very impressed with how stable they are. Yes they do slide down about an inch to get settled but its expected. Another thing that really surprised me was how comfortable they are to stand on. I haven’t even used a saddle yet with these. I didn’t walk around the tree cause I only had the lineman belt on but I didn’t feel like they were going to move at all. Super stable. I got the ratchet strap with them and if you ratchet it slow the deer are not going to hear you. Can’t wait to try these out with my saddle on the next scouting trip!

Wide and comfortable. A nice improvement on an already superior product. Go further, quieter and leave no mark behind.

  31. Tim Nelson

Purchased the platform ring of steps to practice in the backyard vs. using a platform. Easy to use and easy on the feet.

  32. Shane ONeal

So much easier then having to take a platform

  33. Ron Jacobson

The platform ring of steps are absolutely awesome!! I have 6 and the ratchet strap. I’ve also done 10 hours sits and my feet have been comfortable all day. The versatility a ring of steps offers has certainly provided me with better shot opportunities.

  34. Steve thomas

Great ring of steps. Easy to setup and adjust. Ratchet strap works awesome and holds steps tight to the tree. Not much movement when your weight is added. Light to carry. Not to noisy. Comfortable on the feet for long sits.

  35. Robert Kobres

I started one sticking last season. These steps are my favorite option to replace a large platform one stick.

My ultra light setup for this year is the small Scout Platform on a 12″ stick with 3 step adder along with 4 Platform Step and the strap.

I also plan to try just 6 Platform Steps with no other platform using my 4 set of One Sticks and adders.

  36. Todd west

Excellent product, light weight, easy to use, far more comfortable then the original aluminum ROS

I have tried them once so far and they worked absolutely fantastic! I will be using them sometimes by their self and also plan on using with my saddle platform! Definitely would recommend them! 👍

  38. Zak M

I was hesitant to try this out. After having shot from this and other main stream type platforms isn’t not even a comparison. These steps are more sturdy, provide a better base to shoot from and allow for more (and easier) movement around the tree. Awesome product.

  39. Kyle keeder

Great people great hunting gear ..

I will admit, at first, I wasn’t sold. The more I use them the better they get. I thought the steps were too short. They aren’t. I thought they were too loud. With practice they are quieter than the platform. The biggest draw back is that it is almost too easy to move around the tree. I find myself doing it to alleviate boredom. Great product. Well designed and constructed.

Ordered the ring of steps and they felt way better than the cheaper set I was using. Had the strap start to rip and emailed bullman and they immediately sent me new strap. Highly recommend

I bought two sets, one for a friend. Took me 3 times up the tree to get it dialed in. I removed one of the steps, using my top step of the climbing stick as #6. Far superior to the Hawk brand I tried. Less stable and more complicated than screw in steps to attach to the tree. Quick tips: place ROS 4-5 inches above your last step, they will sink when you stomp them tight. Get steps tight enough on tree that you can just barely move steps along the strap to place them, then crank it tight. Have buckle facing you but just offset from your top step so you don’t step on the ratchet and your ratchet doesn’t get stuck behind your climbing stick when you stomp things tight. Take the time to get your steps right before you sit back to hunt or adjust as soon as you realize you’re not happy w the set. That avoids some misery 4-5 hours later. We like them. Saves us weight vs a platform and more maneuverability around the tree. Also less expensive than a platform. You’ll eventually land on your own system for how you pack and carry. I like to sling them over my shoulder when I go up the sticks along w my tether rope. If you carry a small pack, you can use that attached to your lineman’s belt around the tree to cushion your knees (after you’re tethered). A bear, buck and doe with the longbow using them. The bear and buck in particular were shoot able based on ability to contort into position. Getcha some. It’s a good product.
